Rare locations like Humanitarian Aid or Crashsite appear once per day (daily reset at 22:00 GMT) and the player can attempt to fight danger level 3 to 5 zombies for treasures.
Unfortunately by design these locations last only 15 minutes and spawn most of the time once the player's energy drops to 21 or below. Therefore it is nearly impossible to reach it in time by just walking and more energy than available has to be spent. That's why it is important to keep some water bottles, beer, soda or level up to refill the energy. Having maxed levels for skills like short cut and second wind are extremely valuable as they reduce the walking time energy cost which may allow the player to get to these locations with less than 21 energy.
Even if the player isn't strong enough to fight those zombies, it is worth going to these places as there are some unprotected crates to be looted. Extremely rare parts like spark plugs, car oil and car battery for car repair can be found there.
Humanitarian Aid
Location spawned at exactly 20 energy.
Distance too far to reach by walking. Most of the time, it takes 25-30 energy to reach the location by running and therefore means of energy recovery are required.
Large crate in the center is protected by groups of zombies. It can be determined by clicking the large box and the defending groups will shake. It is possible that only one of the groups has to be defeated or all of them have to be defeated before being able to loot the box. The small box in the bottom right corner is unprotected.
Loot[]
Resources for crafting and consumables.
Story Task related drops like seeds, antibiotics, medical alcohol
Extremely rare drops:
Car battery for car repair
Crashsite
Alternate rare spawn that appears less frequent than humanitarian aid with shared timer. While humanitarian aid provides resources, crashsite mainly provides equipment which makes the Player stronger.
Loot
Equipment, weapons, armor.
Extremely rare drops:
Car oil and spark plug for car repair
Microchip for Story Tasks and Shelter upgrade
Clan boss "Ivan"
Unlocked after completing 14 trials within given timeframe (7 days)
Team effort and coordination required as the boss has 65'000 HP.
No item loss on Player defeat.
"All or nothing" - Encounter. The boss lasts around 1 day and 6 hours after spawning. It can overlap with clan trial reset and has to be resummoned again before it can be attacked. If it isn't defeated within 7 days after the first summoning, then all damage done so far will reset.
Strategies
Common "Suicide Attack"
Unequip all armor to avoid durability loss
Use weapons that can be afforded. For example rusty weapons, third best or lower ranked weapons in possession
Don't waste comsumables to heal up
Respawn with 50 health on defeat
Move / Run to the boss again
As the boss does exactly 35 damage to the Player at 0 armor defense and takes 4 turns to reach melee range and 2 attacks to kill the Player at 50 health. This means the Player has 6 "free" attacks on average not taking boss crits or misses into account.
Waypoint "Energy-Saving"
Try to keep a "cache battle" node midway to the clan raid boss "Ivan" as a waypoint. The skill Shortcut reduces the energy required for each run and subsequently the energy consumption overall at higher levels.
Direct route:
Running to Ivan will take 19 energy without any skills invested
It will take 8 energy with maxed Shortcut and maxed Second Wind.
Indirect route by using a waypoint:
Running to the waypoint will take 11 energy and from the waypoint to Ivan will take 8 energy without any skills invested (19 energy total, no difference)
It will only take 3 energy and 1 energy with maxed Shortcut and maxed Second Wind (4 energy total, half as much energy as the direct route required)
Loot
See army cache in the raid tab of the clan.
Looting the army cache will give 5 random drops.
Chance to get the highest level of equipment up to date.
Chance to get a military container for 25 warehouse slots, which isn't listed in the clan raid tab.
