The following walk-through is a copy of SilverEyes' post on the kongregate forum.

Overview[]
The Car is an unlockable vehicle that requires to be repaired first to then be unlocked.
It was first announced in the game's homepage on the Russian social media VKontakte (VK)
Roughly translated:
"When used to travel, the car becomes unsafe through wear, and Car Spare Parts will be required to fix it.
The car has 4 slots for additional modules, that will benefit your hero in the Dead Lands.
Module options:
- An increase of the trunk size
- An additional weapon slot
- Wear damage reduction on weapons/gear"
Repairing the Car[]
At the start of the game, the car is represented on the map as a fixed location the player can move to, located to the east of Nightstone.
_
Once the location reached, examining the Car will reveal the resources required to repair the vehicle.

These resources are:
• Bolts x25
• Wires x10
• Car Spare Parts x50
• Bearings x15
• Car Battery x1
• Wire x20
• Wheel x4
• Car Oil x3
• Scrap Metal x125
• Spark Plug x4

_
In the early stages of the game, it is advised to place almost any resources you wish to place into the Car, so as to deal with inventory issues.
It is however strongly advised to NOT PLACE SCRAP METAL.
Indeed, Scrap metal is a very useful resource that you'll need in these early stages, and the car will not be unlocked until far further into the game. Placing Scrap metal in the early stages will hinder your advancement.
The Battery, The Spark Plugs, and the Car Oil are extremely rare.
You will obtain 2x Car Oils from the storyline quests, the third will have to be found.
Edit: You can find all 3 car oils from the storyline quests, the last being at quest #66.
Battery and Sparks can be found, or purchased from the premium box Spare Parts Pack located in the resources section of the shop (scroll downwards through click-holding and drag).
Using the Car - Basics[]
Once you have collected and inserted all the required resources, a short cut scene will bring you back to Nightstone, and the Elder will congratulate you for unlocking the machine.
Currently, this part of the game has not been translated, and is still in Russian.
_
As expected, the Car uses Car Spare Parts to move around the map, instead of energy:
_
Car Spare Parts have to be drag'n'dropped onto the car to "reload" it. The current max is 25.
A message informing you of that is displayed. However, currently this part of the game has not been translated, and is still in Russian.
You can also add a trunk to the corresponding slot to increase inventory size.
The other slots and their function are yet to be determined, although an assumption can be made from the original post on the game's homepage on VKontakte.
_
When you go to a destination from Nightstone, you can choose to go with the Car. This will park it in the location. If you leave the car there, you will need to go back to the location to retrieve it. You cannot travel with the Car if it's parked on a different location to the one you find yourself at.
Using the Car - Strategy[]
The amount of Car Spare Parts needed to travel depends on your walk travel time.
Therefore, how many Car Spare Parts you'll need to drive to a location can be affected by the skill Second Wind.
_
The most optimal way to use the car is sparingly, to drive to groups of farmable locations.
In the example below, the drive is made to Freemut (blue route). The west locations (yellow route) are farmed using energy. Return is made to the car to sort inventory, then the 5/5 node is done (red route) using energy again. Once completed, return is made to the Car parked in Freemut, and then the player drives home.
_
As a rule of thumb, when used in an optimal way, Car Spare parts can be considered at an approximate value of 50 energy per stack of 20.
Miscellaneous[]
- The exact ratio of Car Spare Parts to walk travel time is 1x Car Spare Part per 200 seconds walk time, rounded up. For example, 650 seconds of travel time would be considered 4 car parts, even though it's only 50 seconds above the threshold. Credits to RATMex_B for having worked it out.
- The trunk items used to increase the Car's inventory capacity have durability. They suffer damage whenever you drive while the trunk is equipped. Currently, this makes the trunk items, both 1 slot and 3 slot, not desirable.
- When the Car is parked on a combat or location node, to the exception of Freemut, Nightstone, Amelia's Diner, and the Bridge, the node's graphic display on the map changes to that of the car. This is useful to knowing where you parked your car. In case your car is parked in one of the exception zones, and you forget which, a simple click on the "Vehicle" icon at the bottom of the screen will generate a yellow arrow pointing to the car's location.
- When a zone node, where the car is parked, times out, or when a battle node, where the car is parked, is fought and completed, the car remains in that location. The location will still be there, despite having its timer run out, and no new location node will spawn to replace it until you move the car. Identically, a battle node on which the fight has been completed will not disappear, and no new battle node will spawn to replace it. This can be used to create stepping points, with the car, to various objectives such as the clan raid, or Amelia's Diner. However, this is done to the loss of a new battle node or location node, since you will have to move the car before getting a new spawn
