Enemies come in various shapes and sizes. The damage they do can be reduced by wearing armor.
Danger Levels
Zombie encounters vary greatly in difficulty depending on the danger level. The levels go from 1 to 5.
Level 1 (Green): Contains 2-4 Infected Civils. With 0-1 replaced by a One-armed Infected.
Level 2 (Yellow): Contains 3-4 Infected Civils. With 0-2 replaced by One-armed Infected and / or Decaying Infected.
Level 3 (Orange): Contains 4-10 Infected of any 1-3 level kind. There is special 'Battle for Cache' area with only Charred infected spawned.
Level 4 (Red-Orange): Contains 4-10 Infected of any 1-4 level kind. There are two special 'Battle for Cache' areas: One with Infected Cops and one with Infected Military
Level 5 (Red) Contains 4-15 Infected of any kind. At this level game can spawn up to two Trasher. If it spawns two then they are always of a different kind: one 325HP and one 500HP
Level 5 (Red with white skull and spiked aura) Clan Raid Ross Elite (Moniker "Ivan")
Level 3
Danger level 3 areas, also known as orange zones, represent a big spike in difficulty level as zombies with 55 to 80 health start appearing.
It is recommended to have a healing capacity of at least 200 HP and a weapon capable of doing at least 28 damage. This allows you to kill the normal ones with a single bullet and the higher ones with two or three bullets.
Level 4
Danger Level 4 general encounters: These start spawning frequently when the Town Hall reaches level 5
Danger Level 4 Marauder's cache:
-Start spawning around Player Level 30-35.
-There can be mixed groups, cops-only or miltary-only encounters.
-Great source for weapons (mostly damage 25 to 35) and equipment (mostly clothing / armor with values 5 to 9).
-First attempts could be done as low as Player Level 30+, weapon damage 35+, armor value 20+ and healing items worth 500 to 750 going "ALL-IN"
Recommended equipment:
-Weapon with damage 40+ to kill Infected Civils, Charred Zombies, lowest health versions of Infected Cops / Military with 2 attacks.
-Clothing with combined armor value 25 to 35
-Healing items worth 200 to 500 (possibly more required with lower damage and / or armor values)
Level 5
Danger Level 5 general encounters: If the Player hasn't upgraded the Town Hall above level 5, then these areas will only infrequently appear in Rare Spawns.
Danger Level 5 Army Cache:
-Start spawning around Player Level 35+
-More or less same as Danger Level 4. But contains a larger amount of Infected.
-Main difference is the risk of having to fight up to 2 Trashers.
Recommended equipment:
-Weapon with damage 56+
-Clothing / Armor value 40 to 50
-Healing items worth 200 to 500 (possibly more required with lower damage, armor values or meeting Trashers)
Level 5 Clan-specific Raid Boss "Ivan"
Summoned when the clan completes 14 Trials within a weeks timeframe
This battle is a team effort and only worth a try if all clan members decide to make an attempt and participate together.

Marauders
19th August 2020: Human type enemies introduced with a new update
9th September 2020: Difficulty rebalance. Former difficulty icon 1/5 green and 2/5 yellow changed to 3/5 orange, general health lowered, most enemy ranged weapons and some other high performance weapons have their damage reduced by 15 to 25% before armor defense reduction. Humanitarian Aid rarespawn with marauders instead of zombies added.
General overview
Marauders are equipped with a part of the selection of weapons that the Player can get.
Marauders are equipped with different types of armor but the effect is merely cosmetic and they don't receive a damage reduction from defense values but have much higher health instead.
Unlike battles against zombies that can have a horde of up to ~14 individuals, battles against marauders are fought against 2-4 opponents but due to them having ranged attacks, the Player is normally unable to avoid taking damage.
Energy recovery items like beer and water bottles are common loot.
Recommended equipment:
-Weapon with damage 45+
-Clothing / Armor value 40 to 50
-Healing items worth 200 to 500
Basically prepare the same equipment equivalent to battles against danger level 4 to 5 zombies. Fighting against marauders below Player level ~40 with a vast inventory of tactical or better equipment sets is not recommended as the loot is rarely worth the weapon / armor durability investment.
Marauder Types
m = damage modifier -15% to -25%
The penalty rule is still unclear as a battle can have two identical marauders equipped with a katana but one of them does full default damage while the other has a damage reduction applied.
